An open porcelain bowl with a flanged rim. This piece has been decorated on both the interior and exterior with a geometic design in gold lustre positioned between several bands. This is set against a cobalt blue glaze which breaks to a light blue in a lively way where the bowl has been turned with a sharp change of direction. The pot has a maker's mark (m) impressed near the base.
