Clive Davies is a long established potter. The gallery has stocked his work for over twenty five years. His vibrant palette of bright glazes is his trademark. The majority of work is made using a light stoneware body but he also makes a small percentage of porcelain in each firing. The work is fired using a gas reduction kiln which produces the bright colours. This piece is a shallow sided bowl with a predominant use of blue, yellow and green.
A makers mark (CD) is sprigged to the side of this piece.
